Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kiss at MTV Movie Awards

The two co-stars - widely rumoured to dating in real life - pucked up after scooping the award for best kiss for their smooch in The Twilight Saga: New Moon.


Pattinson accepted the award saying: "Thanks a lot guys, there was very stiff competition this year. It's really nice to win it two years in a row."


Stewart, who nearly fell over as she walked to the stage, was also nominated for her kiss with Dakota Fanning in The Runaways.

Other nominees included Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in The Proposal, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner in Valentine's Day, Zoe Saldana and Sam Worthington in Avatar.


As the crowd started to shout, Kristen teased: "So, we're supposed to kiss each other. To be perfectly honest with you, it takes a lot of smoke and mirrors to make us look good kissing. We'll give it a shot."


The couple then made several awkward attempts before Pattinson grabbed Stewart and kissed her briefly on the lips.

Kristen quickly pushed Pattinson away and thanked the audience before the pair walked off stage.

Pattinson and Stewart also won last year for their kiss in Twilight.


There was lots of kissing at last night's MTV Movie Awards - Sandra Bullock snogged Scarlett Johansson after accepting the Generation Award, while Zac Efron gave Vanessa Hudgens a peck on the cheek and Russell Brand smooched Jonah Hill after they were caugh on Kiss Cam.

But it's so boring now, they kissed before at MTV "oh i guess this is where we kiss" I hope they NEVER complain about papp's and fans going on about the two of them! They deserve it.
