Stephen Moyer: my son was gutted I turned down Soccer Aid

True Blood star Stephen Moyer said his son was gutted he turned down the chance to take part in Soccer Aid.

The Soccer Aid match recently took place in Manchester, UK, and saw two teams of celebrities and footballers play against each other in a bid to raise money for UNICEF.

Celebrities taking part included Robbie Williams, Mike Myers and Woody Harrelson.

Moyer, 40, admitted he was asked to play but could not make the date.

He said to Access Hollywood: 'I was invited to play for England last weekend in the big opening ceremony for the World Cup - for the celebrity England team.

'I couldn't do it because I was working. And my son - I'm disowned.'
