This week, hundreds of die-hard Twilight fans have camped out in front of L.A. Live for the opening premiere for the latest chapter in the Twilight Saga, Eclipse. This is set to take place on Thursday night.
Fans had begun to arrive on Monday to await the arrival of the films stars and to possibly score a ticket. Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Peter Facinelli.
Officials at the Nokia have handed 9,000 wristbands to fans who camped out in tents just outside the theater. A list of rules have been posted, that consist of no oversize tents, no drugs or alcohol, no cooking, no audible noise, and no littering.
A man from New Zealand made the trip to Los Angeles with his niece.
He had this to say about it:
"I brought my niece. I told her I owed her a trip so we brought her out here and and between her and my wife convinced me to camp out."
According to CBS news, 600 fans have already set up tents outside L.A. Live. Ecliopse will be released in theaters on June 30th.
I am a fan of the saga, but not enough of one that I would camp out just to see some of the stars. To each their own though. This movie looks great! Almost time!
