Sam Trammell has revealed that the season finale of True Blood will be a nail-biter.
Trammell, who plays shapeshifter Sam Merlotte on the HBO series, said that "something big" would happen to his character during the climax to the third season, and admitted that there would also be cliffhangers.
“There’s no breathing room in the finale,” he told Access Hollywood. “This finale’s like a hardcore finale, where all the way up until the last minute, you’re gonna be on the edge of your seat.”
Trammell also said that he has enjoyed portraying the new, darker version of Sam in season three, after the character's nefarious past was revealed.
“The flashback stuff was great," he said. "That was just really fun and kind of an interesting thing, because Sam’s the good guy in town and the person that employs everybody and protects people.”
The season finale of True Blood airs in the US tonight at 9pm on HBO.
