Breaking Dawn cost $263 million to make

This may be the saddest piece of news you'll read all weekend. The final two installments of the Twilight saga will cost a reported $263 million.

The Breaking Dawn production team must feel sure they have these two flicks in the bag already because $263 million is a serious chunk of change.

The Wrap reports: "Summit’s two coming blockbusters, "Breaking Dawn 1 and 2 will cost $263 million — not the $200 million previously reported — and are projected to bring in a staggering $1.2 billion for the studio."

Part of this absurd spend will go to stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Each is rumored to be taking home $12.5 million for their work.

$12.5 million? I love them, but it's way too much to be portraying vampires and wolves (especially Taylor who's not acting when he's in wolf shape)...
