Managing to survive in the Krakow ghetto while the vast majority of the Jewish population have been transported to concentration camps, Szpilman leads a lonely, dangerous existence sheltering in abandoned houses. It's amazing, but eeeever so sad and it made me so angry watching it, I felt sick, so it's done very well! But just so horrible. A brilliant film though ~ it's a true story xxx

I saw this shortly after it came out, I cried through the whole film. It is a must watch film, so brilliantly done. Waves
