'Twilight' soundtrack grabs 2 Grammy nominations - While the second movie in the Twilight series, New Moon, continues to rake in money at the box office, the first movie is still earning award nominations. Wednesday evening, the Twilight soundtrack grabbed two Grammy Award nominations.
The nomination for the soundtrack itself is for "Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or other Visual Media." Its competitors are: Cadillac Records; Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds; Slumdog Millionnaire; and True Blood.
The second nomination is for Paramore's "Decode" in the category of "Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television, or other Visual Media." The song's competitors are: "The Climb" from Hannah Montana: The Movie; "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionnaire; "Once in a Lifetime" from Cadillac Records; and "The Wrestler" from The Wrestler.
The 2010 Grammy Awards will take place and be broadcast on January 31, 2010.
