HBO's vampire series has added some fresh blood.
Kevin Alejandro and Lindsay Pulsipher are joining "True Blood" for the show's third season, according to reports.
Alejandro ("Southland") will play a Latino orderly named Jesus, who takes care of Ruby Jean Reynolds (Alfre Woodard) at her care facility and becomes "involved" with her son, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis).
Meanwhile, Pulsipher ("The Beast") will play Crystal, the new romantic interest for Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Sookie Stackhouse's (Anna Paquin) older brother. In the novels the series is based on, Crystal turns out to be a werepanther.
The third season of "True Blood" is scheduled to return in the summer.
