Hollywood's latest heartthrob Robert Pattinson talks incessantly during interviews as he is afraid he will break down in tears if there is silence.
The 'Twilight' heartthrob feels nervous when he is interviewed about himself and wishes he could stay out of the spotlight when he isn't working in movies.
"During interviews I'm incredibly nervous. I don't want there to be a silence, because I'll start crying out of nervousness. I just say the first thing that comes into my head. But the only way to establish any kind of mystique is to completely shut up and never talk to anyone. Unfortunately, I have to. It's in my contract," Contactmusic quoted him telling Live magazine.
The 23-year-old British actor doesn't like watching his own films he always feels his onscreen persona is a "fraud" who is ill at ease with his emotions.
"I took my mother to the 'Twilight' premiere and squirmed through the first ten minutes. But in the end I couldn't bear it, so I had to leave and went out and sat in the car," said Pattinson.
"I hate watching myself on screen, because I'm constantly worried that I'll look like a fraud. Even before I started acting, I was constantly thinking I was faking my emotions," he added.
