'True Blood' Star Anna Paquin Reveals She's Bisexual

On her Showtime hit show True Blood, Anna Paquin likes vampires, and in real life she apparently loves both men and women.

Paquin surprised the crew filming a PSA for “We Give a Damn,” a charity focused on raising awareness for various causes, when she admitted “I’m bisexual.” She added that “in this country, a hate crime occurs every hour of every day.”

She recorded the public service announcement for the True Colors Fund, a nonprofit organization founded by Cyndi Lauper to support the LGBT community.

Paquin makes the declaration at the beginning of the video, which also includes appearances by gay celebrities like Elton John, Wanda Sykes and Clay Aiken. She's one of many celebrities -- straight, gay, or bi -- in a video created for the new "Give A Damn" campaign. You can find out more at wegiveadamn.org.

Paquin is engaged to her Blood co-star Stephen Moyer. Which gives us a question: does she prefer humans or vampires?
