ROBERT Pattinson is bulking up for his role in the next Twilight movie - by scoffing Nando's chicken.
Robert Pattinson, who will reprise his role as vampire Edward Cullen in the upcoming movie Eclipse, wants to wow his Twilight fans with a more muscular appearance in Breaking Dawn, so has put himself on a high-protein diet.
The 23-year-old heartthrob has amazed diners at his local Nando's restaurant in London by chowing down on platefuls of peri peri chicken.
A source said: "He is a regular visitor to the Victoria branch in London.
"The customers can never believe it is really him - or how much he eats.
"He's mad about the peri peri chicken."
Maybe R-Pattz is hoping to catch up with his Twilight Saga co-star Taylor Lautner, who beefed up for his role in New Moon.
The 17-year-old, who plays werewolf Jacob Black, has been commended for piling on the muscle for the film.
Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg - who has worked on all the movies - said: "Taylor is unusual because he easily could have lost that part.
"He was a day player in the first movie, and there were all these discussions about whether he'd be coming back.
"He took it upon himself to transform himself into a leading man. He made himself a leading man. That was nobody but him, he made that for himself."
Breaking Dawn - which may be split into two separate films - is due for release in 2011.
