| A bit old but a series of promotional cast images for Twilight Eclipse were released like a week ago and we are going to kick them off at BSC with a pair of Cullens. One, of Ashley Greene, is the star of the entire Twilight Saga franchise as ‘Alice’. The other is a supporting character named ‘Edward’, portrayed by obscure actor Robert Pattinson. Even with Twilight Eclipse hitting theaters on June 30th, a lot of the recent news has been related to event a bits further into the future with news regarding Twilight: Breaking Dawn. This week we got the word that we can expect the fourth (and possibly 5th ) chapter of Meyer’s franchise be in theaters in November 2011.
Oh, and don’t forget: Robert Pattinson now has a comic book.
That news came days after the film’s newly named director, academy award winning Bill Condon, released a letter to the fanbase. Condon became the choice on a Summit wantlist that allegedly also included Sofia Coppola, Gus Vant Sant and Stephen Daldry. Back to Eclipse though, we’ve had a lot to look at recently, including the domestic trailer, the international trailer, and a mash-up of the first two domestic trailers. Even more recent, we pointed you to some new looks at Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner that were made available on the official Eclipse site.    | |
