Seeing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kiss in Twilight Saga: New Moon got us Twi-Hards all hot and bothered, but is their steamy scene enough to win the "Best Kiss" 2010 MTV Movie Award?
Most film goers will agree that this MTV Movie Award category is one which Twilight is more than likely to win. Rob's "O" face alone in the New Moon scene below is enough to score the movie a home run.
Strangely enough though, several Twilight cast members are completing against each other in this category. Find out whom Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will need to beat for "Best Kiss":
Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning, The Runaways. Congrats, ladies. The only reason you got nominated is because MTV always includes a gay kiss and for some reason, you were picked this time around. It's great to be inclusive, but teenage Dakota just ruins the fun!
Sandra Bullock & Ryan Reynolds, The Proposal. Who doesn't love an unlikely yet cute couple? Bullock may be America's sweetheart at the moment, but sadly her cheating husband story doesn't interest the teenage audience nearly as much as reports on what R-Patz ate for breakfast. And dare I say, Sandra is considered "old" by the MTV audience. Truthfully, these are the two I really want to win, but they'll be overlooked.
Taylor Swift & Taylor Lautner: Taylor Squared, Tay-Tay, or whatever other cute nickname you want to call them will be K-Stew and R-Patz's main competitor. Robert has a bigger fanbase than male Taylor, but female Taylor has a bigger fanbase than Kristen. Does this mean they equal out? For the most part movie stars have more power than musicians. In this case, the Taylors won't take all.
Zoe Saldana & Sam Worthington: Animated love action? You got to be kidding me! Do I really need to explain why Zoe and Sam have no chance against our New Moon love birds?
