Just weeks after it was reported that Kristen Stewart had collapsed due to her relentless work schedule, her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson is said to have had a public meltdown.
According to Look magazine, the British actor was close to tears as he begged paparazzi to stop following him after he left a friend’s party.
He said: “I hate this. I’m going to find a way to make it all stop.”
Now, it seems he has turned to the only person who understands what he is going through – rumoured girlfriend Kristen.
A source told Look: “Kristen’s absolutely frantic about Rob. She’s never known him to get so upset.
“He’s gone from obscurity to being one of the biggest stars on the planet and the pressure he’s under is unbelievable.
“She’s trying to keep his spirits up but she’s worried he needs more support than he lets on.”
Rob also reportedly confided in friends at private members’ club Soho House, telling them: “Kristen is right, I can’t live like this.”
Since then, the pair are thought to have been considering roles away from the mainstream in a bid to regain some privacy in their lives.
But with two Twilight films still to be shot, it seems they will have a long wait before K-Stew and R-Pattz mania settles.
