Melissa Rosenberg, screenwriter for the Twilight Saga films, has issued an update on progress for scripting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 on her Facebook page.
"Hi Y'all! Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. Been immersed in the world of Breaking Dawn. I've been working very closely with our director Bill Condon, whose input has been SO great. He understands story, structure and character as only a fellow writer can, but he also has fantastic visual ideas. And he's not... shying away from anything! Sex, birth, feathers, blood... it's all in there. More later! xoxo Mel"
Rosenberg's words about Breaking Dawn's birthing scene to E! Online made a lot of waves recently when she said that "we're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book" but "I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show . . . It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."
Sounds like things are coming along; and just in time, too! Breaking Dawn's filming schedule picks up just around the corner!
