Kristen Stewart often gets bullied by the media for her cold demeanor, and she says she's been treated like a "b*tch" since childhood.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph, Stewart opens up about her struggles growing up and attending grade school. Since she started acting at the age of 9, the actress was teased and bullied by her peers. Often times, she was scrutinized for her roles in movies such as The Thirteenth Year and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. But after a classmate recognized her small role in the film The Safety Objects, her peers really started to turn on her. Stewart played a tomboy in the movie, and suddenly she started hearing "She's such a bitch!" around school.
At 13, the actress quit school to further pursue her acting career. Steward admits, "I was glad to leave school. I was missing a lot of classes and they were failing me.” She mentions, “I couldn't relate to kids my own age,” and that 'they are mean and don't give you any chance.”
Now, the 20-year-old actress is wrapping up production on Walter Salles adaptation of On the Road. Afterwards, Stewart will start on the final installment of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
