Reportedly “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has rocked the box office with huge income. The movie pocketed a handsome amount of $300 million and more. The movie even left behind James Cameroon’s alien oriented film based on the planet Pandora “Avatar”. Box Office reported that the film was one of 2010’s disappointment.
Meanwhile “Eclipse” is behind its previous part “New Moon”. But reportedly Box Office thinks that the film will surpass its sibling within next weekend. They hope so because the movie is being released in 791 theatres to celebrate Bells Birthday. In the time when New Moon released, it bagged $709 million. But, speculations say that Eclipse will be having tough job to take the top spot which is now under the hands of “New Moon”. All it is needed for “Eclipse” to do well against “New Moon” is that sell tickets which might take place. The movie was a huge hit worldwide, no doubt about that. But, it’s now up to the rest of the marketing which may garner the movie with huge money.
Although “Eclipse” was able to grab people’s attention in North America, yet it could manage to sell very less tickets in other parts as compared to the last release of Twilight being directed by Chris Weitz
