School was not Kristen Stewart's thing. The Twilight actress recently opened up about getting her start in the acting biz, and how balancing her professional life with full-time education proved to be super difficult.
"I was glad to leave school," she tells the Daily Telegraph about dropping out at age 13. "I was missing a lot of classes and they were failing me."
But besides missing classes, Kristen found it hard to deal with her classmates. "I couldn't relate to kids my own age," the 20-year-old adds. "They are mean and don't give you any chance. Once [you're] done with school, you realize that it is just a smaller version of life, and really I have felt that I should have been an adult since I was aged about five."
The L.A. native eventually finished her high school education through completion courses, and doesn't seem to regret her decision. Meanwhile, her co-star Taylor Lautner was reportedly looking at colleges in May, and castmate Dakota Fanning had no problem missing out on an Eclipse screening in order to take the ACT.
