Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart asked to promote New Moon separately

Have you seen the alleged lovebirds promoting New Moon in separate parts of the world? Well, according to an insider, they both requested to not be together (that is until they promote in the US and do an interview for The Today Show on November 18th).

Kristen Stewart has done all of the so far promotion of the film in South America with Taylor Lautner, while Robert Pattinson has been promoting in Japan with the movie’s director.

The insider reported: "They are really good friends and that's all. Any time they're photographed in the same place, the rumor mill just starts all over again, and that makes the paparazzi hound them even more. They requested to do things apart so the scrutiny around them will be a little less intense."

If you do want to see them together, you can pick up the December edition of Bazaar magazine that features both actors on the cover and in a fancy, sensual shoot.
