It looks like Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart really hit it off while filming for their new movie.
It looks like while working together on Twilight: New Moon Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning put down the foundations of a pretty solid friendship. And it seems the pair only got closer while filiming their upcoming flick The Runaways.
Dakota told the L.A Times: "You can probably tell we get along really well. For the characters, it's really important that bond is portrayed. And we have that in real life."
Kristen and Dakota play band mates Joan Jet and Cherie Currie who went from 'good Valley Girl to bad Rock n Roll princess' in the 1970s. Their off screen bond will make this true story seem all the more real, and is sure to help the film pull in a big audience.
And it's a good thing they're close, because in one scene the girls even have to kiss! Eek! You wouldn't want to do that with your worst enemy!
But it seems the girls had a blast while shooting the film. Dakota gushed:
"When you're up there and you hear yourself singing the songs and feel yourself performing the dance moves that are so iconic - when you're up there having the time of your life - you feel like you are those girls for a few minutes. It's really fun!"
Will you be going to see The Runaways? And did you think Kristen and Dakota would be friends in real life?
