Twilight star Robert Pattinson has revealed that his favourite film is Mel Gibson’s Oscar-winning movie Braveheart.
The Daily Record reports that Robert loves the empowering story of Scotland’s very own William Wallace so much, he watches the movie 4 times a day!
The British actor said: "I saw Braveheart on the television the other day and I've been watching it four times a day since. It's my favourite film. I haven't been to the cinema in two years."
It seems the only time Rob gets to venture to the cinema is when he is attending the premiere of one of his own films. Having become a worldwide heartthrob thanks to his role as vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight, he has admitted to finding it difficult to go out in public without attracting hoards of screaming fans.
Another reason he finds it difficult to go out inconspicuously is due to the heightened interest in his rumoured relationship with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.
Fans and media are desperate to grab a glimpse of the glamorous duo and keen to prove that the two really are an item, even though they have previously denied such allegations.
But the lack of privacy seems a small price to pay for the huge success Robert Pattinson has enjoyed since starting out in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
With Remember Me starring Pierce Brosnan and Twilight: Eclipse due out this year, not to mention the eagerly anticipated film Bel Ami (that sees Rob take on his raunchiest role yet) released in 2011, it seems Pattinson’s rise as one of the hottest names in Hollywood is set to continue.
Wonder if we’ll get to see him in a kilt anytime soon though? A Scottish fan can dream...
