| Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s Twihard fans turned up in thousands at several outlets for the midnight release of the much hyped The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVD on March 20. While none of the celebrated teen stars were present at any of the outlets, much to their fans’ dismay, actress Nikki Reed, who portrayed the role of ‘Rosalie Hale’ in the film adaptation of the book ‘Twilight’ and New Moon, and director Chris Weitz turned up at the Walmart in Santa Clarita addressing the hot issue at hand: whether Breaking dawn should be split into two movies.
On the other hand, the cute Peter Facinelli (who plays Dr. Carlisle, the patriarch of the vampire family) showed up at Best Buy on Union Square to the delight of the enthusiastic Twilight fans who not only chatted with them but also signed some of the new DVDs that flew off the shelves like hot cakes. Tinsel Korey and Kiowa Gordon showed up at the Tri-county Suncoast Video store for the New Moon DVD release.
The just-released DVDs of the monster hit flick boasts of a teaser trailer for the upcoming “Eclipse” and some deleted scenes from New Moon, however, majority of the DVDs were reported to be lacking in those extra features, which was described by director Chris Weitz as an honest mistake.
