'True Blood' inspired Moyer engagement

True Blood actor Stephen Moyer has revealed that a scene from the HBO drama inspired his engagement to co-star Anna Paquin, reports People.

Moyer, who plays vampire Bill Compton in the series, popped the question to Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) earlier this year.

Speaking to Glamour, he said: "There's a song Bill listens to in the car about a white sandy beach.

"So we decided to go away for a break - to a white sandy beach - and that's where it happened."

True Blood creator Alan Ball recently claimed that he knew about the actors' romance from the beginning because of their "chemistry" on set.
