Stephen Moyer, star of the HBO series “True Blood” has landed himself two roles on the big screen in a matter of hours. Moyer’s success on “True Blood” helped him land roles in an adaptation of the TV series “The Big Valley” and the CIA thriller “The Double” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Moyer plays the role of the lead vampire, Bill, on HBO’s “True Blood“. He will play the role of the attorney son in a family of ranchers in 19th century California in “The Big Valley” which begins filming next month in Louisiana, not too far from where “True Blood” films. Moyer will play the role of a Russian spy in “The Double“, a story about a retired CIA operative who partners with a young FBI agent.
Moyer will take his place on both casts next to some big names. Jessica Lange will play the matriarch of the family in “The Big Valley” while Richard Gere and Topher Grace will star in “The Double” as the CIA operative and young FBI agent, respectively.
