Awards ceremonies are full of pleasantries and polite nods of acknowledgement when stars lose out on scooping an accolade to their biggest rival. But what do you do when you lose out to a loved one?
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could be about to find out…
The National Movie Awards are taking place on Wednesday May 26 and viewers will get the best seat in the house for the ceremony when the programme is aired live on STV that night.
The categories include Most Anticipated Movie of the Summer, Best Family Movie and Performance of the Year.
Movies including Harry Potter, Sex and the City and Kick-Ass are all up for awards, with Twilight star’s Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner joining a host of A-listers in the category for Performance of the Year.
ITV’s director of entertainment Elaine Bedell said: "The National Movie Awards celebrate the very best of what the film industry has offered from the past year and for the first time ever our viewers will have a front row seat for all the action as it happens live on TV."
So who do you think deserves to win? Are you Team Jacob or Team Edward? Maybe you’re more Daniel Radcliffe than R-Pattz. You can vote for your favourites here.
