ANNA Paquin says blondes really do have more fun!
The actress went from a brunette to a blonde for her role in the smash hit TV show True Blood – and she’s loving every minute of it.
“Boys like to stare at blonde girls – that’s totally true,” says Anna. “So it’s amusing and quite lovely. Boys like blonde girls, who knew? Maybe that’s why I’m not changing it back between seasons.
“I’m really enjoying it. The hair was a huge part of becoming this character – the whole blonde thing and the tan thing. When they first cast me I was a pasty brunette from New Zealand, and now I’m a Southern blonde.”
Paquin, 27, recently insisted that she has no problems when it comes to flashing her flesh in the front of the camera.
“It’s been a gradual evolution for me,” said Anna, who won an Oscar aged 11 for her part in 1993 film The Piano. “It’s probably weird for people to watch it and if they have this image of me as a sweet little child, but it’s not weird for me.
“My wardrobe is awesome. I’m practically naked the entire time — what’s not to love?”
