Kevin Williamson, the man behind The Vampire Diaries, is contemplating on adding yet another beautiful face to the fictional town of Mystic Falls. This time, he wants country pop singer Taylor Swift to come onboard as a vampire. Williamson has already approached the award-winning artist to guest star on the series though no deal has been struck as of this moment.
"I'm desperate to have [Swift] come play a vampire," Williamson said. "Wouldn't she make an amazing Kirsten Dunst circa Interview With the Vampire type? Oh my god, I cannot tell you how hard I'm trying to get her--I would kill to have her on the show!"
Taylor Swift fans shouldn't get their hopes up just yet though. Williamson fears that she's "too big for Vampire Diaries now." On the other hand, the writer-producer is still optimistic that something will work out.
Swift, who was recently honored with four prizes at the Country Music Awards, has already completed filming her first movie, Valentine's Day, a romantic comedy set to hit theaters on February 12, 2010. She's also rumored be dating her Valentine's Day co-star Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in hit vampire movie franchise The Twilight Saga.
