Now that the news has been confirmed that Tobey Maguire will not be reprising his role of Spider-Man in the fourth instalment speculation is rife as to who will be his successor.
Presently it seems that Pattinson gets top votes, but the question is when would he find the time?
In a statement Maguire said
“I am so proud of what we accomplished over the last decade,”
“Beyond the films, I have formed some deep and lasting friendships, and I’m excited to see the next chapter unfold in this incredible story.”
Sony has said that Spider-Man 4 will be about Peter Parkers adventure in High School. But as Maguire would be 36 when the movie is released in mid 2012 that would rule him out.
Pattinson may be top chioce right now but he does have some fierce competition from fellow Twilight co star Taylor Lautner or from Chace Crawford.
But as we have said when would Pattinson find time he already has quite a busy work load with Bel Ami in pre production, and preparations for his role in ‘Unbound Captives’ not forgetting the Twilight films , Eclipse and Breaking Dawn whether it is done in two movies or just one.
