The film may not be due in theatres until June this year, but already it seems that Summit Entertainment are releasing the final trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this coming Friday – much to the disappointment of fans. Twihards expecting many more clips and trailers have been shocked to learn that the final trailer for the follow-up to last year’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be release on the Oprah show this coming Friday – leaving many to wonder what’s next for Summit Entertainments lacklustre marketing campaign.
The announcement came via Summit’s official Twitter page, whether or not the trailer will also be syndicated online the same day remains to be seen, however you would think that for such a big property, Summit would still just be gearing up for a massive marketing campaign. With that in mind I’m also scratching my head as to how they’ll be filling in the coming weeks in order to build a bigger Twilight buzz than New Moon generated last year.
Check back here later this week for a copy of the new (final) trailer.
In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) – knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
