"Twi-hards" are getting a tiny taste Thursday of the new trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
In the ultimate tease, a breathtakingly short preview clip hit the Web a day before a new official full-length trailer debuts online, Friday morning at 9 a.m.
The footage manages to pack maximum drama into a fraction of a minute. First, we see Robert Pattinson in vintage Edward form, embracing Kristen Stewart's Bella in a gloomy fairytale forest. It then cuts to a scene of them gazing across the pillows at each other, supine, as he warns "I know the consequences of the choice you're making."
Then the camera zooms across a mountain vista before landing on Taylor Lautner as werewolf-boy Jacob – shirtless, natch – before jumping to a scene of him with the series' tortured heroine.
"I'm going to fight for you, until your heart stops beating," he tells Bella.
In addition to Bella being chased by the homicidal vampire Victoria, the third installment in the fantastically popular series deals with her decision to join "the cold ones," as Jacob's clan calls the vampires – hence his reference to her heart going still.
