| Subject: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner onboard without Ashely Greene and Kellan Lutz in “Breaking Dawn”? Thu May 13, 2010 7:37 pm | |
| “Eclipse” might be the last film where fans can catch the starry Cullen family for the last time as some of the actors who play Edwards siblings might not return for “Breaking Dawn”.
Summit Entertainment is considering splitting the 700 plus page final Twilight novel by Stephenie Myer into two parts so that it can roll out two more movies but the project has to come a halt after it failed to finalize a deal with all the cast members.
The studio is about to close a deal with the lead actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor by keeping them happy with a big raise. Summit has already reached an agreement with director Bill Condon who is ready to film two “Breaking Dawn” movies if the studio gives the nod. But the trouble is with the supporting cast, some them are not happy with the amount that Summit has offered to them.
Actors Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz who plays Alice Cullen and Emmett Cullen respectively are not happy with the offer and therefore demanding more money. Whereas Peter Facinelli, who plays Cullen family head Carlisle Cullen and Billy Burke who plays Bella’s dad Charlie Swan have signed up for the final installment.
But Summit doesn’t entertainment demands from supporting cast members. It dropped Rachelle Lefevre (who played Victoria in first two films) when she demanded a raise. So it is feared that Greene and Lutz might be rejected over pay issues. As a studio insider told Reuters “We may have a situation that one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point”. | |
