Ashley Greene, from Twilight could be in next Scream movie!
Scream 4 is scheduled to be out in theaters in April of 2011 and casting directors are looking for some "fresh faces" to add to the very successful movie franchise. According to Collider.com, Twilight Saga's Ashley Green, Hayden Panettiere (of the TV show Heroes), Lake Bell (from It’s Complicated), and Rory Culkin (of Mean Creek) are all in talks with Dimension Studios to join returning cast members, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette.
Of course the plot for the new movie is completely under wraps but it does seem as if there is a passing of the baton. I guess if you want to stay relevant, you can't use last decades stars any more for slasher films, but you must have a "new generation" of victims. You must remember that the average demographic for horror films is 18-29, and so no one would be convinced that a cougar like Courteney Cox (or her goofy husband David Arquette) are the new hot young thing.
