It would scarcely be an exaggeration to suggest that, though she is not particularly raw in the fairly exalted confines of Celluloid and has been around for a while, it was essentially her big –screen romp in the smash –hit ‘Twilight’ franchises, which served as the much needed career leg –up for sultry, hazel –eyed Celluloid temptress Kristen Stewart.
Indeed, the dark –haired Celluloid Diva, who has previously featured in such movies as ‘Panic Room’, ‘Zathura’, ‘In the Land of Women’, ‘Adventureland’, and ‘The Messengers’ among others, received the much desired career boost with her portrayal of Bella Swan in the mega money raking twin ‘Twilight’ flicks, and the big –screen success thereof, helped her to find a firm foothold in the glamour strewn movie industry.
However, the bubbly actor, who is rumored to be dating her ‘Twilight’ screen pair Robert Pattinson, has taken a conscious call to move beyond her much loved screen image of the demure, brooding Bella Swan in the ‘Vampire’ capers, and has sought to explore newer and more challenging genres in Celluloid, in a bid to demonstrate her acting prowess in no mean measure.
And quite in tune with her desire to not rest on her ‘Twilight’ laurels and carve a further niche for herself in the fairly hallowed confines of Celluloid, the luscious screen stunner has already moved on to a heady bouquet of versatile screen avatars in such flicks as ‘The Yellow Handkerchief’, ‘The Runways’, which is a biopic on iconic rocker Joan Jett’s popular all –girl rock act of the seventies, and the upcoming ‘Welcome to the Riley’s’, which would feature a de –glam Kris in the challenging role of a ‘flesh trader’.
Guess from the evidence of the above, one can safely surmise that there’s a lot more to this pretty 19 year old starlet, than being just a ‘Twilight’ lass.
